R10 is a portable Mifare Bluetooth reader & writer that can read any Mifare tag and transmit information by Bluetooth to any Bluetooth-enabled device. It can connect to a Window XP based POS system via a USB serial interface.

R10 can be used as a POS solution as well as a ticket verifying device in a theme park operation. During peak season, queues for visitors to enter the theme park could be very long. This is how R10 can help to solve the problem. Visitors will  be given an option to upgrade their normal entrance ticket by paying a little bit more for a “Priority Access Ticket” and avoid a long queuing. This privilege can be applied in the games section after visitors enter the theme park too. R10 will be used as a verification device to scan those premium tickets. While R10 read/scan the premium tags, the tags info/data will be collected and sent back to the database server either by LAN or any Bluetooth enable devices depending on the location of the server.
