i8 is designated as a sophisticate access control system, which has 2 units physically, main unit and sub unit. Sub unit is a simplified unit without Display & Keypad. Both units are capable to work in standalone or network mode.

The system includes a master controller, while all device access logic is controlled by the master controller. Hence, Area and Zone management can be established when multi device is under control.
