| Van-Sales System
| Industries such as tobacco, ice-cram and drinks usually sell their products as an ad-hoc job. RCG Van-sales system could pre-load the specific route for vans or truck which will walk around their customer shops. Then, the van's salesman will walk into the target shops with the hand-held terminal and take orders from these shops. At the same time, the required products will be delivered immediately from the stock on the van or truck. In addition, the invoice will be issued by printer installed in van to finalize the order via Bluetooth communication between hand-held terminal and printer. As a consequence, the inventory in the van will update to central warehouse inventory system while the data stored in the hand-held terminal is synchronized.

To answer the above needs, RCG has developed Van-sales system which streamlines this unique operation and Van-sales system can:
- Pre-load routing, customer & product information for van salesman and driver
- User friendly interface in hand-held terminal with touch-screen ability to ease the operation
- Access store and customer information by simple click through
- Print invoice via Bluetooth to eliminate the work on manual handwriting
- Reduce manual paper work levels and improve accuracy
- Inventory on van is updated to central office through synchronization to save cost for order re-entry
- Easy to monitor performance of individual salesman
- High accuracy of truck inventory control and streamline the replenishments of van stock
- Easy for integration with back-end systems like warehouse management system and supply chain management system

Each salesman is required to login to the hand-held terminal as they start daily job. Hence, the assigned route for visiting shops is shown. On each stop, the salesman will bring along their hand-held terminal to take the order as the shop manager request. As the order is completed, salesman will print the invoice out and also pick the requested goods back to shop to complete the order. As a consequence, the order information will be updated to central inventory system while the synchronization function of hand-held terminal is activated. | < body>
