Onsite Mobile Ordering System

RCG's Onsite Mobile Ordering System provides a convenience method for exhibition organizer to provide services. The system helps to improve the efficiency of work by reducing work duplication, enhancing data accuracy and simplifying work process. The client-server based architecture provides the facility ordering and job ordering function to exhibitor's request as well as the billing function for the service chare. The system is designed in a way that would provide a high class reliability and excellent respond time.

OMOS can:

• Verify exhibitors by barcode.
• Take exhibitor's orders via barcode scanner.
• Allow operator to efficiently distribute job orders and facility orders to relevant constructors for kick-off process.
• Enhance data accuracy of using barcode system.
• Allow operators to calculate the bill accurately.
• Provide accurate management statistics and reports (Sales, Inventory Report, etc.)
• Allow operators to submit correction orders during exhibition booth checking.
• Allow operators to update inventory information.
• Provide clear status information of job and facility orders.

OMOS is implemented as client-server architecture. Server itself handles data transaction from the clients, including TabletPC and handheld terminals. Different roles of operator will have different user accesses level controls to perform and access different functions. Such system allow clients to make orders at anywhere within the exhibition hall, receipt will be generated to clients for reference. Meanwhile, the system will automatically distribute the orders to constructors for carrying the process. Once the constructor has completed the order, the system will record down the completion time and update the order status.
