Recently in the consumer market, a hard-shell wallet with built-in fingerprint reader and Bluetooth connectivity is to be released for those who crave luxurious possession and security. The wallet was made of carbon fiber and with a simple biometric fingerprint reader installed on the cover as the primary security measure. The Bluetooth is wired to an alarm which will be triggered if the wallet and cellphone get more than 15-30 feet away.

The exact launching date for the device is expected to be in mid December 2009 and this new biometrics application further indicates the technology has entered our daily life.
